Day 13: Lessons Learned

Day 13: Lessons Learned

So, I've missed a few days of blogging again. Maybe I should make this less frequent as I feel doing it daily makes it harder to find out what to write about. I'll make a blog post around twice a week from now on. Anyways, what's been happening in the past few days? What have I learned?

Deadlock took up too much of my time throughout the day, and I've recently uninstalled it. Since then, I've noticed I have a lot more free time, but because of that gap I don't know what to do with the free time, and although I have lots of work to catch up on, it's still difficult to be motivated to work on it. Instead I seem to spend that extra time doing other fun but distracting things, like playing Minecraft or watching YouTube. So I guess one thing I learned was that I should figure out a better method of structuring my time and choose to mix in a balance of school work, life responsibilities, and fun activities.

Another thing I figured out is a good method to keep my diet in check. It's simple: every night when cooking dinner, I make a little more than enough so I can eat the leftovers for breakfast the next morning. That makes my mornings easier and gives me the time to focus on other tasks.

Finally, I should let myself relax sometimes. I'm not in a rush to finish anything and the work will always be there. See you another day!
